2K has shared with fans through different social networks, a NBA 2K22 first look at the version of the game for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X / S. The video game will be officially launched on September 10, 2021.
The studio published a Courtside Report where they detail some of the new enhancements that players will be able to enjoy once they first play the game.
Visual Concepts has completely rebuilt the shooting and blocking system and has updated how the game handles defensive rotations. Now, players will be able to perform combos in a more creative and diverse way.
"Shooting has undergone many changes for NBA 2K22. There’s a new shot meter with a dynamically resizing make window. This window will expand when you’re taking high-quality shots with good shooters, but will shrink when heavily contested, shooting with a low-rated shooter, or fatigued. The major emphasis for shooting success this year is Shot IQ."
One of the most significant changes will be the inclusion of a new shot meter, much more dynamic, which will change depending on the skills of the player you are controlling.
2K has worked hard on many aspects of the gameplay and everything indicates that NBA 2K22 will be a good game for both Next-Gen and Last-gen. You can pre-order NBA 2K22 here.
