PGA Tour 2K23 Confirms Michael Jordan As Playable Character

Tiger Woods has been confirmed as the cover athlete for PGA Tour 2K23, and the golfer will appear on the covers of the standard and deluxe editions. The Deluxe edition will be available on October 11, and the Standard version will be released on October 14, 2022.

PGA Tour 2K23 will include 20 licensed courses at launch day such as St. George’s Golf and Country Club, South Course of Wilmington Country Club, and The Renaissance Club. Additionally, players will be able to design their own courses using the in-game editor provided by 2K Sports.

There will be 14 playable golfers, of which the following have already been officially announced: Lexi Thompson, Justin Thomas, Tony Finau, Collin Morikawa, Lydia Ko, Will Zalatoris and Brooke Henderson. Additionally, those who pre-order the Deluxe Edition will get Michael Jordan as a fully playable character. This coincides with Michael Jordan's appearance in NBA 2K23 as a cover athlete.

PGA Tour 2K23 Release Date

According to the latest rumors, PGA Tour 2K23 could be released on October 14, 2022. Although, it will be available three days earlier for those players who purchase the deluxe edition version. The video game will be available on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One. A PC version is not yet confirmed, which would also give access from the new Steam Deck console.

PGA Tour 2K23 Gameplay and Trailer

2K hasn't shown gameplay for PGA Tour 2K23 yet, but we're expected to see it in August. Apparently the date chosen by 2K Sports is August 22, 2022. So we will have pretty soon a trailer and a first look at what we can see in October, once PGA Tour 2K23 is officially released.
