In a recent interaction with the community, NBA 2K dev Mike Wang (also known as Beluba) responded to a fan’s burning question: Are instant green animations back in NBA 2K25?
Wang explained that NBA 2K25 will introduce a new Shot Feedback option called "Simple," available in the Customize HUD menu. By default, this setting provides immediate timing feedback as soon as you release your shot. For those who prefer more detailed information, including defensive coverage, Wang recommended switching to the "All Shots" visibility setting. He confirmed that, as in NBA 2K24, full shot feedback will remain slightly delayed.
This new feature gives players more control over their in-game experience, allowing them to choose between instant feedback or a more detailed analysis of each shot.
