NBA 2K25 File Explorer Tool V2.1

Shuajota

The NBA 2K25 File Explorer tool is a valuable resource for players and modders who want to dive deep into the game's data. Designed exclusively for NBA 2K25 by Looyh, this tool allows users to search, explore, and export various resource files within the game.

Key Features:

· Exploring Game Files: The tool supports browsing and accessing NBA 2K25's resource files. Upon first use, simply drag and drop the game's root directory or executable into the tool to open the directory.

· File Exporting: Users can easily export selected files by right-clicking on them. Export preferences, such as paths and methods, can be configured in the settings.

· Handling NBA 2K25 File Structure Changes: With NBA 2K25’s new file structure, almost all files need transcoding. The tool dynamically builds IFF files into a zip-format during export, but for those who want quick previews without exporting, built-in viewers offer faster access.

· Improved User Experience: Enhancements from the previous version (NBA 2K24 File Explorer) include a refined file list, an upgraded search function, and the ability to select files via mouse dragging.

· Simple Mode for File Exporting: The tool allows exporting files not listed in the manifest, though you must know the exact filename (e.g., some .wav files).

· Additional Utilities: The File Explorer also comes with several utilities, such as TLD to DDS conversion, Binary metadata to JSON conversion, and a Hash Generator for quickly updating file names.

This tool provides a seamless way to access and modify NBA 2K25's files, making it a must-have for anyone looking to customize or explore the game’s inner workings.

V1.1 (10.09.2024)

· Fixed the issue where .gz files were not automatically renamed to .bin after transcoding when exported directly.

 · Optimized the performance of decoding IFF files in the built-in viewer. Arena files can now be opened within 1 second.

V1.2 (10.12.2024)

· Fixed the problem that the file name sorting in the file list is case-sensitive, which causes the file sorting in the iff viewer to appear messy.

· Fixed the problem that some files are omitted when exporting iff files, such as the MatrixWeightsBuffer file in the face-fill iff.

V2.1 (10.20.2024)

· Fixed an issue with fxaa antialiasing not working after a model viewer view size change.
